We are working on all the details for the 7th Annual Mississippi in the Park at Chastain Park.
We will have the 3rd Annual Mississippi Celebrity & Alumni Golf Tournament returning to Chapel Hills Golf Course followed by Missisippi Night at the Altanta Braves on .
Catfish plates, t-shirts, and Braves tickets will be available for purchase on this site in the Spring.
Golf tournament sign-ups will be available through this site once enough of the details are finalized in March.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Buckhead is our official hotel.
They have extended a promotional rate for our out of town guests of $109 per night.
This rate is available for stays 06/04/15 to 06/07/15 and must be booked before 05/14/15.

The Mississippi Society of Georgia gathered for a social at Smokebelly BBQ in Buckhead on Tuesday, February 17th.
Since most of Georgia does not do Fat Tuesday, it was a perfect time to gather with fellow alumni and other Mississippi friends to show 'em how its done.
Cash and canned goods were collected to support Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Society to Award $1,000 Scholarship
The Mississippi Society of Georgia is pleased to announce that we will award our $1,000 scholarship for a 5th consecutive year.
Any class of 2015 Georgia high school student planning to attend a Mississippi college or university in the fall of 2015 is eligible.
The application is available on the Scholarship section of this website.
